Foundation
Who Are We?
Genesis HOPE Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that transforms the lives of families and communities by facilitating opportunities to receive proper nutrition and quality mental health by Helping Others Persevere by Empowerment (HOPE). Genesis HOPE Inc. was grounded on biblical principles under the foundation of Genesis 1:11, which says, "And God said, 'Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth': and it was so" (KJV).
Goals
Our organization aims to educate communities of color and low-income populations about the relationship between nutrition and mental health, address barriers in social service programs, collaborate with schools and organizations, and provide communities with direct access to nutrition education and sustainable resources to achieve food security.
Vision
Our long-term vision is to close nutrition gaps and provide resources that virtually allow minorities equitable access to healthy food and increased mental health support and resources.
